Divergence Trades

Ant Trading, Inc. has developed their own unique indicator to show when two or more correlating market decouple or diverge. Join Ant Trading's Live Trading Room and watch them call out their entries and exits after their "Red Arrow Divergence"or "Green Arrow Divergences" pop up on their screen shared charts.

An example of Ant Trading's Divergence Indicator is when the ES makes a new high but a combination of the NQ, YM, and TF does not, then a Red Arrow appears signaling a potential "short' Once the indicator populates, an entry signal is triggered the trade entry displays on their DOM while showing their exits for both profit targets and stop losses, live and in real time.

This technique takes only strong or weak opens outside of yesterday's range and looks for prices to retrace and then retest the overnight highs or lows.

We are contrarian traders which means we buy support and sell resistance. This strategy attempts to follow the insiders as they run the stops. These are areas where there is the most activity. They can be R1s, S1s, pivots, low volume areas, high volume areas, etc. We focus on daily and overnight highs and lows.

We try to call market turns by using a strategy called divergence. Many people trade divergences of indicators like stochastics and MACD, we don't. We compare price action across markets.

The market we focus on in the Live Trading Room, is the mini S&P (ES). We use this market because it rotates more than other markets. It also has a large volume so sharing our strategy with others does not affect our orders.

We trade to make money, not trade to trade. The frequency of trades is minimal, usually one trade per day. In our experience, we found that traders who make money trade less. It is important to look for the best setups not the most setups.
